BRRZAAR's Covid-19 Safety Precautions
We wholeheartedly believe in doing our part to keep this community, as well as our families, as safe as possible. Since March 2020 we've practiced all recommended safety precautions as set by the CDC and NYS and Westchester Health Departments, often going above and beyond them out of an abundance of caution. As we work towards expanding our hours and offerings to pre-COVID levels, we are mindful that all of our hard work can quickly be undone by carelessness. To that end, we currently have the following policies in place:
Masks or face coverings must be worn by staff, and are required for customers when in line, during ordering, and when moving to and from their tables or seats. Masks may be removed once seated.
All outdoor seating is spaced at least 6 feet apart and may not be moved around by guests without consulting a BRRZAAR team member.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult to dine on premises. For everyone's safety we ask that kids not roam the garden or train-side dining area.
Contactless payments have been prioritized, and we are accepting credit cards, gift cards, ApplePay, and Google Pay at this time. We do not have coin change available, however if you do not need change we can accept the cash payment.
Order and pickup stations have been separated to allow for appropriate spacing between customers and staff, as well as to speed up the pick up process.
Online ordering is available, eliminating the need to visit the walk-up order window. However online orders do need to call (914-274-8118) when they arrive so their order can be completed (we make our drinks and some of our specialty desserts to be consumed immediately, and we thank you for your patience).
Cleaning and sanitizing all customer and staff areas has been scheduled with increased frequency and intensity, using CDC recommended products.
The staff is trained to operate in accordance with ServSafe guidelines, with management insuring proper food safety protocols are followed at all times.
Hand sanitizer is available at the order window and pickup cart.
Our menu has been restructured to allow for staff to handcraft your frozen yogurt and coffee. We've made every attempt to bring back as much customization as possible, while balancing the need for a staff member to tend to every dessert and drink order.
BRRZAAR's interior space, including our restrooms, is closed until further notice, allowing the staff to social distance, and to minimize potential spread should a community member be unaware of having contracted COVID-19.
Once restaurants are allowed to operate at 100% capacity we will re-evaluate our decision to keep the interior closed.
The BRRZAAR garden, patio and train-side portico outdoor dining areas are open during BRRZAAR operating hours, and is reserved for BRRZAAR customers only. No outside food or beverage is permitted.
